Transportation is the one of the key infrastructures of every city big and small. One key emphasis
on the future development of smart cities is optimal use of public rapid transport and shared
transport mechanisms like city bikes, shared taxi's and cars, and most of all walking from one
place to another.
What it essentially means is that the use of single driver cars is discouraged for two reasons, namely
preserving energy resources like fuel, and reducing city congestion.
Smart cities transportation use underground and overground space for mass transportation of public
through trains, monorails and buses.
Entire network is monitored, just like the inside of the train and buses for public safety. The moving
assets are also managed and monitored for scheduled movement through mobile and static networks.
