    sensors for management. Independent solar powered street
    lights with LED lights are common througout the world.
Smart Water, Sewerage and Solid Waste

Water, is the key essential natural resource for sustaining life of
humans and animals. It is essential also for food production,
agriculture, industries, hydro power & forests. Water demand inreases
with population growth, and has no substitute---one of key life
sustaining asset,  managed very deligently by every nation of the
world.  

We develop the end-to-end digital management system for water,
waste water and solid waste system. Key objective is increasing

mart Water Management System, monitors and manages every point
from production to delivery point with sensors, M2M devices and AMI
meters including water Grid (open channels and underground ducts),

temperature changes and infrastructure damages to help predictive
maintenance.

Sewerage- Waste water & Storm water systems, like water systems
have sensing devices throughout the network for monitoring
blockages and water-flows by backend systems to ensure
uninterrupted service. Recycling and water harvesting is now a must
for preserving underground water resources. Waste water is recycled at
water treatment plants for use in horticultural and replenishing of
ground water resources. The byproduct is fertilizer.

Solid Waste Monitoring System is enabled with sensors to monitor
collection, transport and disposal of all solid waste.  Solid waste is now
an industry where plastics, papers & metals are recycled for making
new products. Balance waste is used as material for landfills.
Smart Transport & Intelligent Traffic Management

Smart Transport includes Intelligent Traffic Management System
(ITMS) and today is critical part for urban cites to move masses using
mix of automated, security enabled buses,  monorails and metro-trains

    (G2B) and services to citizens (G2C). We study &  analyze services
    delivered today, and see if they are necessary and how the delivery
    can be automated through digital use (e-government portals) to
    increase the throughput.
    Examples include business licenses and renewals, identity cards &,
    passports, transport registration, real-estate registration, and
    Federal taxes just to name a few. All these services & transactions
    can be delivered through e-government portal reducing manual

    and public. These include all utilities, education, healthcare etc. All

Most of us are using smart services. Compared to last 20 years, see
how we use Voice & data services, available all over the city, which
means all services can be enabled on existing ICT platform. Lets look
at some services already enabled :
  1. Traffic police is replaced by traffic lights, & traffic lights are
    being replaced by side lanes to smooth the traffic flows.
    Security cameras have replaced  policemen. Public transport is
    security enabled. Old telephones & phone booths lost their
    viability, replaced by smart phones, that have replaced many
    devices of yesteryears. Email's & messenger replaced telegrams
    & telex,  and post offices have shrunk to  kiosk sharing space

    phones.

    lectures.  We work from 'home office' & attend video-con on
    our smart phone or tablets. In Healthcare, our blood reports are
    paperless, and reach our doctors online, who prescribes
    medicines that are send to our pharmacy. These are just what
    we call "Smart Services".

Smart building
Smart buildings are multipurpose high-rise buildings interconnected
with other buildings with bridges & tunnels leaving open ground
spaces for healthy airflows. Building use integrated management
systems to control air conditioning, elevators, lighting, fire-Protection,
security & Access  Control Systems, smart sensors & meters for utilities
just to name a few. They are already futuristic and much safer then
single family homes.
Smart Services (City digital Infrastructure)

                          are subsystems of Smart Cites Ecosystem operating on common ICT platform that operate from city's Command &
Control center.
ICT network is connected to all buildings, roads, traffic signals, parks, schools, hospitals, businesses, police, fire brigades & ambulance
units.  Citizen  smart phones can access the city portals for all services, from billing to public information. City information, maps &
bus routes are shown on video walls. All data from all utilities, surveillance, security, transport, traffic, police, fire & ambulance services
using IOT, M2M, AMI meters, GIS and video cameras is back hauled to control center where every independent services is monitored
& managed round the clock.  The control center being the monitoring center gets alerts for all emergencies at the same time as other
essential services and maintenance centres of all services.
Citizens in smart cities receive paperless bills for all services used and can pay online from smart phones.  Citizens can report
emergencies, and seek help online also.
